Tank Girls is a women-led scuba diving collective in Cozumel, Mexico, run by an all-female crew of experienced PADI and SSI certified DIVE instructors. We offer small-group scuba diving, beginner-friendly scuba courses, private dive experiences, and free dive videos, all with an eco-friendly punk attitude and a deep respect for the ocean.
Inspired by DIY rebellion and radical care for the planet—especially the reefs of Cozumel—we believe every dive can be an act of ocean love and resistance. From introducing new divers to the magic of scuba diving in Cozumel to removing trash from the reef and promoting environmentally responsible diving practices, we dive with purpose.
Whether you're trying scuba diving in Cozumel for the first time, earning your Open Water certification, continuing your scuba education, or simply looking for fun diving on the Mesoamerican Reef, we provide supportive, personalized experiences in small groups. Our goal is to help divers build confidence, improve their skills, and connect with the underwater world in a meaningful way.
Tank Girls welcomes beginner divers, experienced divers, women divers, solo travelers, LGBTQIA+ divers, and anyone looking for an inclusive, judgment-free dive experience. We believe the ocean belongs to everyone, and we're committed to creating a space where people can learn, explore, and be themselves without the macho dive culture that can sometimes exist in the industry.
We also support local female-owned businesses, eco-conscious products, and women in the health and wellness community because protecting the ocean means supporting the people connected to it.

Yoganarchy is where rebellion meets mindfulness. It’s about breaking free from the idea that yoga has to be calm, polished, or perfect. Instead, it’s raw, loud, and unapologetically punk. We treat each breath like a protest, each pose like a stand against conformity.

LOOPIE
Loopie believes the word “radical” has been misunderstood.
To her, radical simply means returning to the rootS.
The root is our connection to the planet.
Clean water. Healthy food. Natural products. Movement. Breath.
In past lives Loopie worked as an anthropologist and yoga teacher, studying how humans live, heal, and connect with the world around them. That path eventually led her underwater.
For the past four years she has worked as a dive instructor on Cozumel Island, guiding people through one of the most spectacular reef systems on Earth.
After living in over 30 countries across 20 years, Loopie finally decided it was time to stop wandering and put some roots down.
The reef is too beautiful not to fight for.

STINKY
Stinky is a Mexican street dog with a complicated past.
Before being rescued by the humane society, she worked the streets as what some might call a “woman of the night.”
A hustler. A survivor. A legend.
These days Stinky is clean and sober for two years, although she occasionally relapses on trash, dead animals, and mysterious beach snacks.
Recovery is not linear.
As the official Tank Girls mascot, Stinky represents the most important rule of the operation:
Be yourself.
Be weird.
And never pretend to be something you’re not.

I love outdoor activities and always take advantage of every opportunity to strengthen my connection with nature.
I trained as a marine biologist, which deepened my love and respect for flora and fauna. I’ve learned that just because other living beings experience the world differently doesn’t mean they don’t feel — they simply feel in their own way.
I worked as a marine biologist in a genetics lab, but I realized that the best way to help nature is through human connection.
That’s why I now work as a Spanish teacher and dive guide.
